Product description

The manifold nozzle thermoFILL is particularly suited for applications in the caps & closures sector.

The slide-seal nozzle was designed for direct gating to the injection moulded part. The gate itself is far away from the nozzle’s contact point to the mould, which ensures perfect thermal insulation of the gate.

For quick colour changes, the cavity plate of the fixed half can be drawn to the moving half in order to remove the plastic cap in the old colour from the nozzle. Even then, the nozzle remains in contact with the nozzle retainer plate. This prevents contact surface wear and guarantees permanent sealing to the plastic melt.
